Streetcolor Yarnbombing Resume
June 2010 Began yarnbombing as Streetcolor with ” The Russian “ in Berkeley Ca . Took the name Streetcolor to be able to work anonymously as part of the street art tradition and as a reaction against the focus on personality in art .
2010 to 2012 Streetart Installations
100 Yarnbombing Installations at public libraries , movie theaters , bookstores , galleries , gardens , restaurants , bakeries ,universities and Bart Trains . These installations where made as a map of my routine path through my city and as an effort to shift the sensation of a city street .
We yarnbombed the outside of several museums as an intervention to how art is shown . These included The SF MOMA , The Crocker Museum , The Cantor Art Museum , The San Jose Art Museum , The Santa Cruz Museum of Art And History , The Musee De’ Orsay in Paris . more here .
Yarnbombing Installations Location
