A very tall pole at The Rose Garden

24 Jul

The Russian likes to knit very long pieces so we are always looking for tall poles. This one is by the park across the street from the rose garden, a park that the Russian grew up playing in and celebrating birthdays. Here are all our feelings about Berkeley expressed in knitting.

I love how when small children walk past the knitting they trail their hands across it. A woman and her little girl stopped and asked “What are you making these for?”

” We are making them for you” I told the little girl. She looked pleased.

My 3 children loved all of poles next to Cordonices Park. They asked when I was going to learn how to knit so I can make one for the pole in front of our house. Wanted to let you know we enjoy seeing your work!
