CheeseBoard knitting

The Russsian and I got out of the car at 6 and walked around The Cheese Board and looked at the poles. There was a very long line of pizza enthusiasts. We walked down to The French Hotel and started sewing. It’s very relaxing now to sew these strips up.Yarn bombing the gourmet ghetto is decorating Berkeley’s best little sculpture gallery We put up 5 pieces, all handspun on my drop spindle, handdyed and hand knitted in a splendid, obsessive, pointless, blissful, binge.

  2. I love it. If I had found people like you in Berkeley, I might never have moved. Thanks for brightening the landscape a stitch at a time.

  3. I have read about you stealthy art knitters but have never been lucky enough to see a piece- so I was tickled to find your cheerful work on my visit back to my home town. A few people only noticed it when I started taking pictures and came up and asked me what it was all about. “Street art- knitting for everyday objects!” What could be better than that? Thanks so much for making life fun!
